Briarcliff Manor, NY
Alfred E. Page Jr. (Buzz)
Born December 28, 1938 in Bronx, NY to Alfred E. Page and Lillian Page (Fay). He attended Tarrytown public schools, graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in 1956, and attained a B.S. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1963. He went on to attend New York Law School where he graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate in 1974.
Buzz was employed as a Research Analytical Chemist at CIBA-Geigy Chemical Corporation from 1963-1974. After obtaining his J.D., Buzz briefly worked as a Law Clerk from 1974-1976, then served as an attorney at several law firms in Westchester County including Stephens and Buderwitz, J. Russell Clune P.C , and Cerussi and Spring between 1976-2005.
Buzz served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1963-1970.
On September 16,1967, Buzz married Marie Patane. Their marriage produced 4 children: Michael, Kenneth, Lianne and Evan.
Buzz will be remembered by his friends and family for his dry sense of humor, his fondness for hamburgers (with 1 slice of raw Bermuda onion), and his deep bass vocals. Weekly, he would complete the New York Times Sunday crossword with ease. While living at his home in Yorktown Heights, Buzz took pride in maintaining his lawn, and thoroughly enjoyed riding on the mower. He loved sports, especially college lacrosse and football. One thing he always wanted to do was ride on a Zamboni. Buzz had a life-long connection to the beach and ocean, which he imparted to all of his children. While other dad's might have been reading bedtime stories, Buzz was lulling his children to sleep with recitations of Edgar Allan Poe. An interesting and complex man, he leaves behind countless memories and he will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marie Page, sons Michael Page (April), Ken Page (Kristin), and Evan Page (Kim), daughter Lianne Lotaj (Jay), and eleven grandchildren. Additionally, Buzz is survived by his sisters, Judith Lieberman and Lillian (Lolly) Lautzenheiser, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters Fay Page, Gail Toucey and Rosemary Cahow.
