Albert Daniel Gargiulo, of Ossining, NY, devoted parishioner of St. Ann's Church, died on July 14, 2013, at 90 years old. One of 10 children, Al was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 14, 1922. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anne Marie (Casale) Gargiulo, their three daughters, Diane Greenwald (Larry), Gloria McQuaid (Michael), Anne Marie DiScala (Jerry). He was extremely proud of and will be greatly missed by his two grandsons, Sean and Daniel McQuaid.
Al served in the US Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Langley during World War II, decorated with 11 battle stars in the Pacific theater.
A graduate of New York School of Printing, Al worked for the Government Printing Office. He was extremely dedicated to his family, God and country.
Family is receiving visitors on Wednesday, July 17 from 4-8pm at Ossining Funeral Home, 45 South Highland Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562 www.ossiningfuneralhome.com.
Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 18, at 10 am, at St. Ann's RC Church, 25 Eastern Avenue, Ossining, NY.
Internment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
