To the family and to all the friends who will miss her, I want to reach out:
She was special to me and to those who have departed before her. Veronica and I were not very close, (I was not in her early life and did not know her until she was free of the tyranny of her step mother) but I had great respect for her intelligence. We all admired her courage, pride and incredible generosity.
All who knew her are blessed by the mark she left on us.
