Raymond L. Woods

Raymond L. Woods 92, of Ossining, NY passed away on May 17, 2018. Raymond was born on June 15, 1925 to the late Raymond and Irene (nee Barry) Woods in Ossining, NY. Raymond is pre-deceased by his devoted wife Bernice in 2013. Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Raymond also joined the ranks of the Ossining Fire Dept. and became a member of the Holla Hose Company. Raymond is survived by his loving daughters Patricia (Raymond) Lips of Ossining, NY, Maureen (Donald) Daddazio of Ossining, NY. Also survived by his four cherished grandchildren Pamela Lips, Brian Lips, Kerri Lynn Daddazio, Allison Daddazio, his three great grandchildren Johnathan Pierre, Jack Woods, Aislin Woods, as well as his five nephews Raymond, Glenn (Laura), Scott (Cherryl), Dale (Shawn) and Steven (Charlene) Woods. Also Survived by his loving caregiver and friend Joyce Harris. Raymond is pre-deceased by his brother Gerald Woods. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION), on Sunday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Augustine Church, Ossining, NY on Monday at 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Phelps Hospice or St. Augustine School in Raymond’s name would be appreciated.
