Mary Anne Fiore

Mary Anne Fiore of Pawling,NY passed away suddenly on June 22, 2018.  Born in Ossining. NY to the late August Fiore and Nellie Donzella Fiore on November 29,1926.  She attended Ossining Public Schools and received a BA degree in political science from Goucher College prior to start of her distinguished editorial career, retiring as Managing Editor of Good Housekeeping Magazine. She later became well-known in the dog fancy as an exhibitor of top-winning West Highland White Terriers. Mary is predeceased by a sister, Cecelia Fiore (Donald) Gardiner, and a niece, Susan Fiore {(Robert) Riley. She is survived by a brother, Frank A. Fiore of Ossining, a sister, Helene Fiore of Pawling, nephews Lawrence and Frank T. Fiore and nieces Margaret Fiore and Patricia Fiore (Anthony) Drpich. Reposing, Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Ann’s Church, Ossining, NY on Thursday 10 AM. Interment, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name can be made to the charity of your choice.
