Augustine Antonecchia

Augustine Antonecchia 89, of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully at his home on April 1, 2019. Augustine was born on Sept. 10, 1929 in  the Bronx, NY to the late Donato and Domenica Antonecchia of Casalciprano, Italy. He is survived by his devoted wife, Felicia, whom he shared his life, raising their daughter MaryAnn who married Patrick Iuliano, and their son Anthony and partner Felicia Federbush. Augustine is also survived by his eldest brother Nunzi, and wife Ann, and predeceased by sisters, Philomena Battista and husband Nunzio, Esther Battista and husband Alfred. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Anthony Antonecchia, Marc, fiancé Nicole, Erica, and Alica Iuliano. Augustine worked for Sears for 41 years. He committed his life to being the best family man, with the brightest smile, while still finding room for comedy at every turn. From his sharp styles and suspenders, to getting up in a room filled of crowds to tell some jokes, it truly pays homage to the fact that he was always able to light up a room and warm your heart. Reposing, Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home on Friday from 4-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Augustine’s Church on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association in Augustine’s name would be welcome.
