Richard DeLong Geyer

Richard DeLong Geyer 91, passed away on Saturday, August 26,2017 of Ossining, N.Y. Beloved husband of the late Sara Antell Geyer for 63 years; loving father of Barbara (William) Watts and Amy (Peter) Berg; loving grandfather of Eric (Christina) Berg, Evan (Samantha) Berg, William Watts, Richard (Jessica) Geyer, Elisabeth Watts and Rob (Audra) Geyer; loving great grandfather of Griffin Geyer. He is also survived by his brother James Geyer of Baltimore, MD. He was predeceased by his wife Sara, his son Richard C. Geyer and his daughter Margaret Coster. Richard was born in Dayton, Ohio. He was an electrical engineer and spent 35 years working for Philips Laboratory in Briarcliff Manor, NY. He enjoyed sailing, traveling, Soduko and computers. He was a volunteer for the Scarborough Fire Department and the Ossining Food Pantry and was a member of the Briarcliff Congregational Church. A private family memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers donations to the Briarcliff Manor Fire Dept. 1111 Pleasantville Rd, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510 would be appreciated.
