Margaret (Peggy) Toy

Margaret (Peggy) Toy 66, of Ossining, N.Y. died unexpectedly on Nov.4, 2017. Born in Yonkers, N.Y. on May 2, 1951 to the late Margaret (Appy) Appleton Toy and Rodney Toy. She was raised in Ossining, N.Y., Graduated from Ossining High School in 1967; went to Geneva College in Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in biology/environmental studies. Peggy is survived by her aunt, Catherine Appleton of Morristown, New Jersey. She will be missed by all who knew her. Those she worked with at Ossining Library, the friends she made while living in Tarrytown and her church family at First Presbyterian Church in Ossining. Peggy was an avid stamp collector and music lover. Graveside Services will be held at Dale Cemetery 104 Havell Street, Ossining, N.Y. on Saturday, Nov.18, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of her life will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Ossining 34 South Highland Ave. Ossining, N.Y. on December 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
