Theresa Rizzitiello was a gifted, dedicated and outstanding gym teacher and director of the Leaders Club and a role model for us girls back then in the early 1960s at Martin Van Buren High School in Queens Village, NY. She said never settle for mediocrity and never applaud it. It was a privilege to have had her as a teacher for two years.
