Robert Everett Sr.

Ossining – Robert Everett of Ossining, NY passed peacefully on Christmas Day December 25, 2017. Robert was born in Ossining on February 13, 1921 to James and Elizabeth (Jones) Everett. He was one of three boys Willie, and James and Sisters Elizabeth, Geneva, Pauline who have preceded him in death.  His sister Catherine Culp is currently the only surviving sister.  Robert was married to Theda Bara Young for 58 years who passed away in January, 2004.  Robert is survived by his two sons Robert Everett Jr. of Yonkers, New York and Kenneth Everett of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Chad Everett and Shenia Everett and great-grandchildren Christopher and Justin.  Robert serviced in the US Army from 1943-1946 in the South Pacific and worked at the VA Hospital in Montrose, NY for 25 years.  A viewing will be held at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Friday January 5 from 10:30 – 12:30 followed by a service from 12:30 – 1:30.  Interment, Dale Cemetery, Ossining, NY to follow.  Flowers should be sent to Leach & Thomas.
