David J. Taylor

David Junior Taylor, 57, of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2017 surrounded by family after his brave battle with cancer.

Dave was born February 24, 1959 in NYC to the late Margaret Taylor and David Feaster. He married the love of his life Linda Emma.

He was the dairy manager at A & P for 27 years before they closed last year. He was an avid fisherman who loved flea markets and could never pass up a good deal. Dave was a devoted advocate for animal rescue who never passed up the opportunity to adopt a dog in need.

Family was everything to Dave. In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his beloved siblings Rose Taylor, Virginia Freeman, Gerald Taylor and Layton Norris; his cherished aunts who were like second mothers Hellen Taylor and Laura Sanders,Clara Barkley, Nannie Long & Joyce Freeman. along with numerous wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his dearly missed brother Phillip Norris.

Calling hours will be at the Waterbury & Kelly Memorial Home 1300 Pleasantville Rd., Briarcliff Manor, NY on Tuesday Jan. 31, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Where funeral services will start at 12 PM. Interment will be private.
